When you buy an Arnas Scope license at arnastech.com/buy, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects your card details directly, and we never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with your name, email address, billing address, the amount paid, and any sales tax charged. We use this information to complete your order, issue your license code, calculate sales tax, keep required tax and accounting records, prevent fraud, and process refunds.
We keep an order record (order number, date, amount, tax, billing address, any tax ID you provide, the license code issued, and the version of the license terms you accepted and when you accepted them). It lets us honor refunds, recover a lost code when you contact us with your order number, and meet tax and accounting requirements. When a license code is activated, our license server records the Machine ID of the computer it was activated on and the activation date. That lets the license work on that computer and lets us help you if you need to reactivate or replace a lost license file. We do not store IP addresses in our order or license records; our servers keep only short-term technical connection logs for security.
We do not send marketing email about your purchase, and we do not email your license code; it is shown only on the order confirmation page, so please save it. We do not sell your purchase information or use it for targeted advertising. We share it only with Stripe to process payment, with service providers that host our store and license server, with our professional advisers such as accountants, and when required by law. Stripe also handles your information under its own Privacy Policy.

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years unless you request deletion sooner.
Order records are kept for up to seven (7) years after the purchase for tax and accounting purposes and then deleted. License activation records, including the Machine ID, are kept for as long as the license can be used or reactivated.
