Who we are
The company
We build software and workflows that make rigorous microscopy analysis accessible at any scale. By working directly with scientists, we close the gap between what instruments can capture and what researchers can confidently measure — without sacrificing mathematical correctness or reproducibility.
Our flagship products — Arnas Scope (3D deconvolution workstation) and Arnas View (high-speed, low-latency 2D SDK) — are built on mathematically sound, numerically efficient analysis pipelines. We also build custom image analysis systems for characterizing cellular populations in brains and other organs.
Founder
PhD, MS — Founder, Arnas Technologies
Nathan J. O'Connor founded Arnas Technologies with over three decades of experience spanning microscopy, physiology, and neuroscientific research. He has built technologies for live imaging experiments, high-throughput and high-content screening (HTS/HCS), and AI-assisted neuroscience research.
Nathan was one of the original creators of AutoQuant AutoDeblur — the deconvolution software that became the industry benchmark for 3D fluorescence microscopy image restoration, trusted by academic and commercial research labs worldwide. He helped lead AutoQuant Imaging through its development and commercialization.
He has managed multiple SBIR-funded research programs, serving as Principal Investigator and Key Personnel on NIH and DARPA-funded projects focused on developing and commercializing innovative scientific platforms.
Today, Nathan leads Arnas Technologies in building scientific imaging software and consulting services, including Arnas Scope, deconvolution software built for today's microscopy labs.
